If certain people are working on projects together, make sure that they are all kept up to date and can communicate with each other effectively too. Think about setting up programs such as Google Docs or having a shared drive for everybody to access so that nothing gets duplicated and everyone can stay in the loop. You may also want to look into project management software, like Asana, to keep everything more manageable.

Listen to what they want

When it comes to outsourcing, you’re probably using freelancers and not employing people. Not only is this easier for you in many cases, since you don’t have to register as an employer or take certain legal measures, but it also means you can change from one person to the next quite easily without any obligation to keep giving them work. However, it also means that each person may come with their own rules and requests, so you should listen to what they have to say and come to a mutual agreement.

Be consistent

People who are doing work for small business owners really appreciate consistency. Some freelancers won’t stick around if you’re not giving them regular work, and it can be difficult to find good and reliable workers. If you find somebody you like, try to give them as much work as possible in order to keep them on board. As well as keeping them busy, try to be consistent in other areas, such as paying on time, keeping them updated if there are any changes in your requirements and asking for or giving regular updates on the projects and work.
