In this video I’m going to show you how
you can make your own avatar you can use
any picture that you want so I’m just
going to make one out of this picture
here so to do this what you want to do
is you want to download and install
paint.net if you don’t already have it
just do a search on Google for paint.net
and install it on your computer and then
open up
ok so this is what paint.net looks like
so what we need to do is we did open the
picture but we want to bring in here
just click open and then search for it
on your computer and bring it in
ok then what you want to do is you want
to select the area that you want in your
avatar so just get the rectangle select
here and then select the main area that
you want to use try to keep it as square
as you can because and avatars usually
fairly squared that’s not quite square
enough let’s square this up a little bit
okay then go to image and crop the
selection
ok so that is now crop your image now
what you need to do is make the image
the size you want your avatar to be so
what you do is click resize now
depending on the website you will need
to make your avatar certain size usually
50 by 50 or 100 by 100 or 200 x 200 ok
so first off let’s say we’re going to
make it 50 by 50 so we keep the maintain
aspect ratio the same it says 50 x 54 so
now we can uncheck that and just tweak
this down to 50 click ok ok
there are 50 by 50 avatar we can save
that we want
let’s undo that and let’s make it a
hundred by a hundred so now we’re going
to image resize again maintain aspect
ratio make the top 100 and then uncheck
maintain aspect ratio make the bottom 1
100 click OK and there’s a 100 by 100
avatar
ok so you get the idea he just pick what
size you want to have to get it done
okay now at this point you just click
the Save button here and then you just
go through and save it now we go back
and we open this
there it is all ready to load up to our
website so that’s how you can create
your own avatar of any image
