Many people make the mistake of thinking that LinkedIn is less ‘valuable’ as a marketing resource just because it isn’t as ‘big’ as something like Facebook or Twitter in terms of traffic.

This is not the point of LinkedIn. LinkedIn is more about the quality of your connections rather than the quantity.

More important still is your company page. Here people can follow your company, just as they would follow a Facebook Page on Facebook. Use showcase pages meanwhile to promote your other brands – such as your website or your main products.

Make sure you have a GREAT logo for your company and showcase pages.

LinkedIn is a highly powerful tool for influencer marketing. What this means, is that you can use it to reach the biggest ‘names’ in your industry. From there, you can then work with them and encourage them to promote your brand for you. That way, you can instantly gain hundreds of thousands of new follower’s overnight and huge sales.

Make it easy for people to add you from your website by adding your LinkedIn profile to your posts/sidebar.

Add everyone you know. You never know who might turn out to be a valuable connection!
